Getting to Northern Michigan is easier than you think!
You can fly directly into Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City, MI multiple times daily. From there you can either rent a vehicle to tour downtown on our own or take a free shuttle through the hotel directly to the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa. Call the hotel in advanced (231.534.6000) to reserve the shuttle and they will be there to pick you up! Hotel shuttle is only available to and from Cherry Capital Airport. Don't forget - there is free on-site parking! However you get here, we can't wait to see you in Northern Michigan.

Daily On-Site Transportation
Downtown Traverse City and the mall are not within walking distance of the Grand Traverse Resort.

For your convenience, we are offering a shuttle bus that will run continuously from the Resort to downtown, the mall and looping back for a minimal daily charge. Each daily pass allows for unlimited trips during shuttle hours. Shuttles will run Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday on a schedule. $10/person/day.

For the most flexible transportation, rental cars are available directly from Cherry Capital Airport through Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National. Take note - summer is high tourist season in Northern Michigan and there is a limited number of rental cars, so book early to guarantee your rental.
